BPC RiskManager V6.2.5.45 (DBV 6.2.9) is available

A new patch for BPC RiskManager (Enrima) V6.2.5 is now available on the down load site.  Use you client login to access.  This is Build Beta45.  Build Beta39 is also still available, being the last stable build for DBV6.2.8.  Build Beta45 is the sixth release for DBV6.2.9.   As with all Beta’s since Beta39, you will need to contact us for support as there is a significant database change (note the DB version is now 6.2.9).   We have not packaged the 6.2.8 to 6.2.9 conversion script in this build because there will be more changes to V6.2.9 before this build cycle is finished.   We are working on that DB change at the moment – so the next Beta (after his one) will have a required set of DB updates.

This build was released a couple of days ago but we have been a little slow with the blog update as we are trying to get the next one out very quickly. 

Unless you want to participate in the Beta testing of the new incident management system, you are advised to wait a few weeks and take the full ‘official release’.  We are almost at the end of this Beta cycle so the bi-nightly builds of the last few weeks are expected to end this week.   

You must have installed V6.2.8 full installer with the DBV6.2.8 database + the V6.2.9 DB conversion script applied to use the patch release.  This full installer is also on the download site.

This patch is a standard copy/paste deployment although a new desktop installer is also included.  It replaces all previous patches.  The patch (BETA45) includes and optional DB script to correct some issues in the Mail Queues.  If you are not using the BPC MailManager you will not require it.  This release includes the following client and server changes:


  •  Added incident centre (replaces previous search based launcher which is now available in the Incident Centre)
  •  Added user sensing views of incidents and investigations showing every inc or inv in which the user has any role
  •  Various Investigation and Incident screen repairs
  • Fix Risk allocation of incidents when created from a risk (completes change from incidents being owned primarily by risks to being owned by incident wells and linked to risks).
  • Check and fix risk allocation on incident type selection in an incident
  • Highlight TOC detail in popup list for selected TOC from Causes grid.
  • Action conflict on save after changing status
  • Action reminder check queued by due date
  • Check action band side effect on following actions
  • Hide topic solver button
  • Show control classifications
  • Fix lookup table in investigations grid for investigation role.
  • Investigation status drop down doesn’t display heading or tick box data
  • Lookup table incident status on incident history
  • Fix screen preprocessing on Participation


  • Added survey instance definition setup screen to setup profiles – the Survey Instances no longer require the Desktop SM client to be end-user customised.

  • Added survey template support to RM


  • DB Repair grids are now editable
  • DB Repair grids support import and export from an XL spreadsheet and other sources


  • DB Update to fix allocation of risk and non-risk related actions queue report
  • Email message profile [reviewer for general Governance now use the correct subject, header and footer
  • New example reports for risk actions and general actions
  • Email previewer launches the correct object when insurance and actions are opened from the internal message inspector
