BPC RiskManager Express V5.4.6

BPC RiskManager Express V5.4.6 has been released.

V5.4.5 was released in May 2009 and included a complete rewrite and updating of the screen look and feel to the Windows 7 theming. Additionally a new word and XL reporting engine using enduser designed templates was included driven from the export interface.

V5.4.6 includes a rewrite of the server thread management system to reduce server load and package all instances into a single multi-threading server.

A server side RTF field handling issue has been fixed that could cause the server instance to suspend on very long (>10k character) description fields containing corrupted or badly formed RTF encoding during the production of the Compliance Register Report.

You can now opt to include RTF formatting in the description fields, or strupped RTF formatting and the stripper has been improved to give a better approximation in ASCII of the stripped version (including dot points).

This version is available for immediate download from the Express download site by customers with current subscriptions.

The next release of BPC RiskManager Express will be May 2010.

The plan to make the BPC RiskManager Express series database compatible with V6 Enrima progresses, and hopefully that will be part of the May 2010 release.
